Caring, balance, respect, patience, and commitment… what do these things have to do with playing well on the field!? To be a great athlete, it is critical that you CARE about your body and your teammates. To be a great athlete, it is essential that you avoid overtraining by BALANCING hard training with the necessary rest. To be a great athlete, it is important to RESPECT your opponents in order to game plan appropriately and bring good focus to the game. To be a great athlete, you must COMMIT to practicing and training regularly, but be PATIENT because excellence requires many years of quality practice.
