The Junior Bruins have founded COST FREE Sled Hockey for disabled children

The Bay State Hockey Foundation is a 501-C-3 non profit organization.

We are dedicated to providing resources that will allow young athletes with handicaps to participate in the great sport of hockey.

Sled hockey USA has assembled a group of skilled teacher/coaches to provide on ice training during the 2008-2009 season.

All equipment, ice-time, instruction and financial support at NO COST TO THE DISABLED PARTICIPANTS
 Mission StatementWe provide exciting and competitive FREE sled hockey as well as FREE equipment, ice time, sleds, etc. for experienced and novice disabled children and wounded Veterans. Programs include clinics, league and tournament play for these disabled players (ages 5 and up) in a social and training atmosphere. We provide a GATEWAY for disabled children, wounded vets and adults to on-ice activity. Wounded Veterans: We are pleased to announce that we will expand the program beginning in the 2009-2010 season to include our Wounded Warriors.
Program Description
*All Children or Vets with physical challenges are welcome.
*Absolute zero cost to qualified participants.
*Group trips to college and professional hockey games.
*Regular free pizza or ice cream parties to instill camaraderie, team spirit and close friendships in the sport.
*Boys and Girls with Spina Bifida, paraplegia, paralysis, cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy and amputee's are typical of those served by this sport.

*Come out and take a look at our programs.
*We invite you to view a session and watch or participate in Sledge Hockey.
